Locuna Developer Statement
The Locuna developerβs account of the dispute, private-server concerns, hosting offer, code allegation, and preferred peaceful resolution.
π’ About the Locuna / Brozy / FriendlyBot Situation
Hello everyone. I'm the developer of Locuna, and I wanted to explain the situation involving Locuna, FriendlyBot, and .brozy from my perspective.
Recently, I've been accused of trying to steal FriendlyBot's code and using AI to create Locuna. I want to make it clear that this was never my intention. Locuna is my own project, and I have no interest in stealing someone else's code.
π What Happened?
The situation started after .brozy invited Locuna to his server, tested some of its commands, and then accused me of using AI to make the bot. I was never given a clear explanation or specific evidence for these accusations.
π Private Server Concerns
I also noticed .brozy appearing in two of my private servers and another server connected to people I know. Because these servers were private and I hadn't given permission for him to be there, I decided to remove and block him from those servers.

π€ The Code Accusation
To be completely honest, I was trying to do something helpful. I was no longer using a particular hosting setup, so I offered it as an option. There was never an agreement that I would take or copy FriendlyBot's source code, and I never intended to access or steal it.
Afterwards, I was blocked and later blacklisted from using FriendlyBot because of the accusation. I respect that .brozy can make his own decisions about his bot, but I disagree with the claim that I was attempting to steal his code.

π οΈ Why I Offered Hosting
My intention behind offering hosting was to help, not to compete or take anything from FriendlyBot. From my experience, I had concerns about its performance, including slow responses, bugs, and periods of downtime. I thought providing an alternative hosting option could help.
π₯ What Happened With My Friend?
A friend wanted to stress-test FriendlyBot to see how it performed. Instead of continuing the situation publicly, I believe the better approach would have been to communicate directly and ask for the testing to stop.

π My Response
I'm not trying to steal FriendlyBot's code, and I'm not trying to create unnecessary drama or rivalry. My original intention was actually to work together, help each other, and potentially become friends instead of competitors.
I understand that we may have different projects and different approaches, but I don't think that means we need to turn it into a conflict.
π€ Final Note
I'm sharing this because I want the situation to be understood from my side, not to encourage harassment or attacks against anyone. Please don't harass, spam, raid, or target .brozy, FriendlyBot, or anyone involved. If there is a disagreement, it should be handled calmly and privately.
My goal with Locuna is simply to keep improving the bot and building something I'm proud of. I'd still rather resolve this peacefully than continue a rivalry.
Sincerely,
The Locuna Developer π
